Coach Joan’s goal is to help athletes reach their goals and have fun doing it!

Do you want to improve your current race time?  Are you competing in your first triathlon or 5K race?  Are you planning on signing up for a longer distance race than you have done before?

Coach Joan can help you with your training and put the right plan together for you.

Joan provides one-on-one sessions as well as periodized training plans tailored to you, your busy life, and your race goals.   She will work with you on your training through form improvement and economy, mental training, scheduling your training, nutrition, and working through your most difficult aspect of your sport.

USA Triathlon Level 1 Certified Coach

USA Track & Field Level 1 Certified Coach

NSCA Certified Strenth & Conditioning Specialist

Experience

Prior to coaching, Joan’s work experience was in the healthcare field, which included Cardiac Rehab, Open Heart Surgery, & Research.  She has coached both beginners and experienced athletes with success.  She has been an endurance athlete for over 20 years, which has included competing in high school & college cross country & track as well as competing in road races ranging from 5K & Sprint Triathlon through the Marathon & Ironman distance.
